EMRS Dhanghera has earned recognition and academic affiliation from key educational boards at different stages of its development:
- The school was officially recognized by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha via letter no. 1220/R&G dated 19-04-2004.
- Subsequently, recognition for Class X was granted through order no. 4078(17) dated 13-12-2004 by the Deputy Secretary of BSE, Odisha.
- For higher secondary education (Class XI & XII), the school secured recognition and affiliation with the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha, as per letter no. 3140/CHSE(O) dated 02-04-2008.
- Taking a step further toward modernization and national-level competitiveness, EMRS Dhanghera was affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, through OMTES letter no. 95/OMTES dated 15-02-2011.
The upgradation to secondary and senior secondary levels was formally approved by CBSE and OMTES through a series of official orders between 2012 and 2015. These affiliations have enabled the school to provide a curriculum that meets national standards and prepares students for competitive exams and higher education across India.
